We are a pack
The origin of the name Tonkawa is unknown, but the accepted translation comes from a Waco term meaning "all stay together." The Tonkawa were a nomadic people who subsisted on hunting and trade in northwestern Mexico, the territory where the Mexican wolf population is recovering today.
